Dexamethasone Syrup Syrup is a potent corticosteroid and immunosuppressant which is prescribed to animals for the treatment of infection. This medication is beneficial in normal protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism. With the help of this medication both the small and the large animals are given relief. The use of this injection is mostly in emergency situations for animals such as dogs and cats. This medication also provides relief to horses. But this medication should be given after the advice of the veterinary doctor.
This medication is used to treat inflammatory conditions and the other conditions in cats, dogs, and other small mammals, including the large animals. Adrenal gland disorder is treated with the help of this medication. Eye problems, breathing problems are also treated with this medication. It is mostly used in emergency situations of anaphylactic reactions, spinal cord trauma, or shock in cats and dogs.

Unlike other medications this medication also has some common side effects. Even though the medication is recommended by the doctor still some of the common side effects could occur. The side effects will disappear gradually but still if the side effects persist or makes the animal uncomfortable then the person should take the animal to the veterinary doctor immediately.
